HOW TO ENROL
If your child is interested in joining us at Marlborough Academy of Dance, we invite you to register by downloading and completing the enrolment form. Please then email it to us.
If your child is not sure what style fits them best, contact us to arrange a free trial class before you enrol.
WHY EXAMS?
The exam syllabus for each dance style is crucial for building skill, technique and performance. For this reason, we encourage all students to work towards taking their exam.
Dancers wishing to be considered for Troupes & Crews must attend all of their exam classes and their exam in order to adopt and perfect proper foundational technique.
We understand a lot of young dancers take dance for enjoyment!
So we aim to keep classes fun as they work towards their goals.
Once exams are held in August each year, syllabus work can make way for exciting new choreography as we build towards our end of year whole school production. A highlight and reward for everyone!
UNIFORMS
The Marlborough Academy of Dance uniform is an important part of our culture. It ensures all dancers are ready to move in comfy, appropriate gear that looks smart.
Uniform is compulsory for all classes and those participating in exams need to be in correct uniform for the exam.
Dancers may wish to grab additional merch so they are warm and feel good when representing MAD at events.
All merch, uniform items and footwear can be purchased online through our contractor MAD Merch. They are local so appointments can be made to try items on if you need guidance on sizing and fit.
TERM FEES
Classes are invoiced at the beginning of each term. Payments can be spread by arrangement. Fees vary, so please contact us for information on fees for your child’s classes.
PARENT PORTAL
At MAD, we use the web based version of Dance Studio Pro as a place where students and parents can view their timetable, fees and access videos and/or music for their classes to enable practice at home.
When you enrol at Marlborough Academy of Dance, you will be provided with a login for this parent portal. PLEASE SAVE YOUR LOG IN DETAILS securely. You can log in to the portal on desktop computer or mobile.
